| shop which is where I had to get mine tested. I'm not sure I fully understand the "Test Only" station logic - this type of station can only test the car but not do any repairs. I think the operating principle behind this is streamline the testing process and reduce wait times. Whatever the case, if your registration is flagged for test only, you cannot take it to any shop that performs smog tests; you can only go to a test only station. Dave
